The maquiladora companies that are part of an active IMMEX program, must submit the Annual Foreign Trade Operations Report in respect to the total sales and exports for the year 2017. This must be sent electronically no later than May 31st, 2018 through the Foreign Trade module (VUCEM).

The reason for this report is to validate that the maquiladora company complies with the annual export obligation for an amount exceeding US $500,000, or its equivalent in national currency, or, having made exports of at least 10% of its total sales.

In the event of failure to comply with this obligation in due course, the benefits granted by the IMMEX program will be suspended or the authorities may cancel the program for the non-complying companies if this omission is not corrected by August 31st, 2018.

Likewise, the company affiliated to the IMMEX Program must submit the Annual INEGI Report for statistical purposes within the same period, under the terms established by the Secretariat of Economy through an agreement.

We encourage you to comply with this obligation in order to continue receiving the benefits offered by the IMMEX and/or PROSEC program.
