Biography

Oscar is a Certified Public Accountant by the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants since 2018. He studied for a Bachelor's Degree in Public Accounting and a Master's Degree in Finance at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. He has more than 15 years of experience developing and leading external audit functions (In Big4 firms), internal audit, comptroller and internal control functions.

Oscar has participated in IFRS, NIF and USGAAP audits of public companies in Mexico (BMV), the United States (SEC) and Canada (TSE), including participation in special operations such as business acquisitions and sales, mergers and spin-offs.

He has extensive experience in various industries, specializing in mining, consumer/retail, and manufacturing industries, among others.
