Luis Miguel is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accredited by the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP) and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Accounting from the University of Guadalajara. He earned a Master’s Degree in Tax Analysis from the same institution and completed a diploma program in International Taxation through the ITAM–Duke University program.
He currently serves as Partner in charge of JA Del Río’s León and Mexico City offices. In this capacity, he advises global companies and multinational corporations seeking to expand, structure, or consolidate their operations in the region, particularly within the electronics, construction, and retail sectors.
With more than 20 years of experience specializing in domestic and international taxation, Luis Miguel has built a strong professional presence in both Mexico City and the Bajío region. Throughout his career, he has established himself as a strategic advisor in areas such as international taxation and the application of tax treaties, assisting clients across a broad range of industries.
In addition, he has actively participated as a speaker and university lecturer on tax matters at various academic institutions, technical forums, and business chambers, including the Mexican-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the French-Mexican Chamber of Commerce and Industry, both in their Bajío and Mexico City chapters. He has also served as a speaker for the Maquiladora and Export Manufacturing Industry Association (INDEX Guanajuato).
