Alfredo Palacios is the Managing Partner of the Guadalajara office at JA Del Río and leads the International Tax Practice for Latin America.
With over 20 years of specialized experience in international taxation, he has established his career as a key strategic advisor for global companies and multinational corporations looking to expand, structure, or consolidate their operations across the Latin American region. His solid academic background includes master's degrees and advanced tax diplomas from prestigious institutions both in Mexico and abroad.
Throughout his career, Alfredo has been distinguished by his active participation and leadership in the sector's most influential technical forums and business chambers. Notably, he served as President of the Study Committee for the Western and Bajío Chapter of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) Mexico. Within this organization, he currently serves as the representative of the Mexican branch to the IFA Latin America Committee, in addition to being an active member at the global level. Furthermore, he maintains a high-profile participation in the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), Guadalajara Chapter, as well as the international taxation committees of the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP) and the College of Public Accountants of Guadalajara.
