Mandatory preventive isolation is extended throughout June.

Yesterday, May 28th, the National Government announced Decree 749, which establishes instructions due to the health emergency caused by the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and public order maintenance.

The decree referred is highlighted the extension of mandatory preventive isolation until noon on June 30th of 2020. Nevertheless this expansion, new sectors are opening up to the economy, among which the following stand out: (I) cleaning and grooming services, including domestic and laundry facilities, (II) Museums and libraries, (III) Professional, technical and general service activities, (IV) hairdresser´s services.

The reopening of these sectors will be coordinated directly by the Mayors, who will establish the protocols for the reactivation.

New deadlines for sending exogenous information to DIAN - RTE - for its acronym in Spanish

Through Resolution 0053 of May 28th of 2020, the Director of DIAN - for its acronym in Spanish extended the deadlines for sending exogenous information to DIAN, beginning on June 16th and ending on July 1st of the current year.

The tax treatment of expenditures derived from donations made to the entities of RTE - for its acronym in Spanish - Special Tax Regime, is regulated.

The Ministry of Treasury issued Decree 743 of 2020 through which it regulated the tax treatment. These donations made to entities of the RTE for its acronym in Spanish - Special Tax Regime, can be treated as deductible expenses.
