On August 31st, the SAT (Tax Administration Service), by means of a press release, announced that the deadline to start the operation of the acceptance or rejection of the electronic invoice (CFDI) cancellation service was extended to November 1st. This, in reply to the various requests received by different actors involved in the billing processes and considering the technological and administrative requirements that involve taxpayers.

It is expected that, in the upcoming days, the SAT will publish a miscellaneous rule which will provide legal certainty to taxpayers, for the period extension.
